Privacy policy

The controller within the meaning of the GDPR for embassy.finance is exclusively AKMn Beratungs- und Vertriebs GmbH, Amtsgericht Wuppertal, HRB 24668, acting as the insurance brokerage company. AKMN Vermögensmanagement GmbH, HRB 36754, is a separate company and is neither controller nor intermediary for this offering.

Full provider, register, supervisory and professional indemnity details are set out in the imprint; the mandatory intermediary disclosures are set out in the initial information pursuant to § 15 VersVermV.

When you submit the Arrival Check, we process the data you provide in order to assess your enquiry and contact you. This includes in particular contact details, selected topics, deadline information and details about your arrival and residence situation.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries).

Your intermediate answers in the form are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage until you submit or reset the check. This local storage does not take place on our servers.

The Arrival Check does not collect diagnoses, medication, treatment history or genetic information. If health details are required for a specific insurance application, this happens separately and only on an explicit basis.

Acknowledging the privacy information is a prerequisite for processing your enquiry. You may separately give a voluntary consent to marketing communication; the legal basis is then Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You can withdraw a given consent at any time with effect for the future. For every consent we record the version of the consent text and the point in time.

Documents you provide are stored in non-public storage. Access is possible only for authorised staff. Anonymous visitors cannot retrieve any records or documents.

Retention period: Enquiries that do not lead to contract preparation are deleted no later than 6 months after the case is closed. Advice, mediation and contract records are retained for 10 years after the end of the relevant financial year (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB). Consent and withdrawal records are retained for 3 years after processing ends. After that we delete the data or restrict processing.

To handle your enquiry, data may be transmitted to insurers and product providers where this is necessary for the mediation.

For hosting, database operation and the delivery of notification and confirmation emails we use Lovable Labs Incorporated as a processor; processing takes place on servers within the European Union (Frankfurt am Main region). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Technical server and access logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

Email delivery: enquiries from the Arrival Check and the language form are forwarded to our internal address embassy@zukunfts.finance; confirmation emails are sent from the sender domain notify.zukunfts.finance. No further disclosure to third parties takes place.

AI-assisted language handling: if you write to us in your native language, we may translate your message using an AI language model that we access through Lovable's model service (Lovable AI Gateway). Only the text of your message, your preferred language and the selected topic are processed – no contract or health data. The legal basis is your explicit consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give separately in the form and can withdraw at any time.

Model providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area; such transfers are based on the EU standard contractual clauses and additional safeguards. Any use of your input to train the models is contractually excluded, and translation requests are not stored permanently by the model provider.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.

We only record privacy-friendly, aggregated events about the flow of the Arrival Check, for example that a step was completed. No field values and no personal data are transmitted.

Personal data is not used in URLs, in analytics events or in email subject lines.
